The price is on the website. Before you drop the car off.

Brakes, battery, alternator, inspection, struts, exhaust — the common jobs have a price band right here, sorted by what you drive, with parts and labor shown separately. No “call for pricing.” No surprise invoice.

Your call, every time

Nothing gets touched without your say-so.

You get a call, a number, and a yes-or-no before a single wrench turns. If we open something up and it’s more than the estimate, the car stops and the phone rings. You decide. Not us.

Want to see it? We’ll text you a photo of the problem on your actual car.
Required to pass

Fails inspection

Legally can’t get the sticker without it. We tell you exactly which items these are — and only these.

Safety

Passes, but worn

Not a failure yet, but headed there. Your money, your timeline. We’ll tell you how long it’s likely got.

Can wait

Keep an eye on it

Noted for next time. No pressure, no upsell. It goes on paper so you’re not surprised later.

We never blend these three into one invoice. You’ll always see which is which.

Rust country adds honest hours.

Salt from November to March seizes bolts and eats exhaust hangers. When a job needs extra labor to fight rust, it’s a stated line up front — never a surprise at pickup.

Sometimes the answer is “don’t.”

A rusted-through brake line on a fifteen-year-old car with a bad frame is a conversation, not a work order. If we wouldn’t put the money in, we’ll say so.

Priced online, against your vehicle

Most of what walks through the door has a number already.

Pick your vehicle class — economy, sedan, SUV/crossover, truck/van, or European/luxury — and the estimator prices these common, well-defined jobs against it. Bands shown are sedan examples.

A published band assumes a normal job on a normal car. A seized bolt, a rusted-out line, or a part someone replaced badly before can move it — which is exactly why you get a call before the work happens, not an invoice after.

Instant estimate

Build your number in about a minute.

Tell us the vehicle class and the job. You’ll get the same parts-and-labor band we’d quote over the counter — including the rust modifier when your car has lived on salted roads. No email wall, no “we’ll call you back.”

Question 1 of 1

What does the car need?

Honest about the limits

What we don’t price online — and why.

Some jobs depend entirely on what’s found once it’s apart. We won’t pretend to know a number we can’t know yet. These start with a phone call.

A

Engine & transmission internal work

Rebuilds, head gaskets, transmission replacement. Too dependent on what’s inside to quote blind.

B

Electrical gremlins

The intermittent fault that only shows up when it rains. Diagnostic time first, then a number.

C

Collision, body & rust welding

Panel and structural rust repair. Come by or call — every one is different.

D

Fleet & commercial accounts

Set up an account and we’ll handle your vehicles on a schedule.

How a visit goes

Three steps. No surprises in the middle.

1

Drop it off

Book online or just call. Tell us what’s going on, or that inspection’s due. Loaner and shuttle if you need to get to work.

2

We call with a number

We look, then we call — with the parts-and-labor band, what’s required to pass versus what can wait, and photos if you want them.

3

You approve, then we work

Nothing happens until you say yes. If it changes once we’re in there, the car stops and we call again.

What drivers say

The same story, over and over.

Quoted me a range over the phone and the final bill landed right in it. Showed me the old part when I picked up. First shop I’ve trusted in years.

Verified customer · Scranton area

Told me two of the things the dealer said I “needed” could wait, and one wasn’t real. Saved me a few hundred dollars and I didn’t even ask.

Verified customer · Scranton area

Failed my inspection for a rusted brake line, but walked me through what was required versus what could hold. No pressure, no games. Fair price.
